First Meeting of “Analytical Council” Working Group Experts Held

On June 13, the first meeting-debate of the Analytical Council working group experts moderated by Armen Ashotyan at the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations was held.

Experts on politics and security, representatives of analytical centres, the NA former deputies were involved in the newly created group.

Let us inform that the Analytical Council working group will function until the election of the National Assembly of the next convocation. The Council will have main members, and there will be also invitees.

Regarding the name of the group the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan noted that there will be recommendations connected with the name, which will be debated.

According to Armen Ashotyan, the working group can support the National Assembly with different thematic discussions and operative recommendations. Armen Ashotyan has stated that though the group members are bearers of different geopolitical looks, nevertheless the main goal of the group will be to get information and recommendations from the experts, which can be used by the parliamentary delegations.

The Council members welcomed the establishment of the group and presented recommendations and remarks.

Summing up the discussion, the Committee Chair expressed conviction that the initiative will be useful and effective.
