On January 16, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the sittings and passed by voting the RA NA Draft Statement on Condemnation of the Genocide towards the Yezidis in the Territories of the Republic of Iraq being under the Control of Terrorist Groupings authored by the RA NA deputies Vahram Baghdasaryan, Rustam Makhmudyan and Armen Ashotyan, the RA NA Republican Party of Armenia, the RA NA Tsarukyan, the RA NA ARF, the RA NA Way Out Factions.

The package of the draft laws on Amending the RA Law on Constitutional Court, on Social Guarantees of the Persons Occupying State Posts and the attached draft laws to them was debated in the second reading and for completely adopting it which presented the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Hrayr Tovmasyan touched upon some issues and proposed his colleagues to vote for the initiative.

Artur Hovhannisyan also presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Combating Terrorism.

The Deputy Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights Rustam Makhmudyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The Deputy Minister of the RA Energy Sub-Structures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan presented for debate in the first reading procedure the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Energy, on Amending the RA Law on Licensing and on Amending the RA Law on State Duty.

The RA NA deputy Vahan Harutyunyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs noted that the Committee in detail debated the issue and organized hearings.

The RA NA deputy Gagik Melikyan and the RA NA Deputy Speaker Mikayel Melkumyan presented their viewpoints on the issue under debate.

The Chairman of the State Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee adjunct to the Government Ashot Martirosyan presented the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on the draft law on Amending the RA Law on the Safe Use of the Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes.

The MP Gagik Melikyan informed that the draft law was endorsed in the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.

Edmon Marukyan presented the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Games by Chance, Games through Internet Win and Casinos authored by the deputies of the RA NA Way Out Faction Edmon Marukyan, Ararat Mirzoyan, Nikol Pashinyan, Artak Zeynalyan and Gevorg Gorgisyan.

The RA NA deputy Vahan Harutyunyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan and the deputy of the RA NA ARF Faction Armenuhi Kyureghyan presented their viewpoints on the draft law under debate.

The deputy of the RA NA RPA Faction Samvel Farmanyan presented the package of the draft laws on the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Games by Chance, Games through Internet Win and Casinos and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Lotteries authored by the RA NA deputies Samvel Farmanyan, Aghvan Vardanyan, Ruzanna Muradyan, Hrayr Tovmasyan, Vardevan Grigoryan, Mane Tandilyan, Gagik Melikyan, Rustam Makhmudyan, Shushan Sardaryan, Sergey Bagratyan, Arman Saghatelyan, Mihran Hakobyan and Jemma Baghdasaryan.

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan and the member of the RA NA deputy Vahan Harutyunyan presented their viewpoints and the endorsement of the Committee.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on the RA Investigative Committee, the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code authored by the RA NA deputies Karen Avagyan and Hrayr Tovmasyan were debated in the second reading and for completely adopting.

At the last sitting, according to the RA Constitutional Law the RA NA Rules of Procedure, the RA NA deputies made their announcements.

The National Assembly will continue the work of the sitting on January 17.
