Arman Babajanyan

Born on July 15, 1976 in Yerevan.

1993 -1995 - Studied at the Armenian Academy in the Island of St. Lazarus of Venice.

1995 - Graduated from Murad Rafaeian College in Venice.

1998 - Graduated from the Vazgenyan Theological School and Echmiadzin Gevorgian Seminary.

2001 - Graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Foreign Economic Relations, Economics and Law. Lawyer.

2004 - Graduated from the Faculty of External Relations of the University of Southern California (USA). Specialist on International Affairs (Master's degree).

2005 - Graduated from the School of Security Studies (SSP), Georgetown University. Master in conflictology.

1989 - Elected Leader of the Youth Union of the Armenian Church in the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese.

1990 - 1993 - Editor of “Ayordi” magazine of the Youth Union of the Armenian Church in the Ararat Patriarchal Diocese.

Coordinator of youth organizations supporting presidential candidate Karen Demirchyan during the presidential election of 1998.

Communications officer ot the election headquarters of the presidential candidate Stepan Demirchyan in Los Angeles during the presidential election of 2003.

Since 2003 - Founding editor of the “Zhamanak” newspaper (Los Angeles).

Since 2006 - Founding editor of the dailies “Zhamanak-Yerevan,” then “Zhamanak.”

2004 - 2006 - Author of the program “Realpolitik” of the TV Company AMGA (USA)

2010 - 2019 - Founding editor of the web site “www.1in.am. The first media.”

December 9, 2018 - Elected Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Bright Armenia” party.

Author of the books “The Heat of Pure Light” - Narek as Purgatory (1994, Venice), “The Bloody Decade” (2008).
