On April 6, at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan, the Deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avaneysna, the Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Edvard Hovhannisyan made reports on the procedure and results of the Government programme implementation for 2020.
Avag Avanesyan touched upon the events implemented for counteracting the social-economic consequences of the coronavirus, which were directed to the support of almost all spheres suffered because of pandemic, as well as the needier sector of society.
The Deputy Minister especially highlighted the events aimed at the agriculture, which did not allow endangering the food security and agriculture of Armenia in any case: “This sphere continued working, and had not many problems.”
An event directed to the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship (SME) was held. Loans were provided depending on the amount of circulation. “Our goal was also to support the organizations, which despite the risks kept the jobs,” Avag Avanesyan said.
Avanesyan noted that they began studying the implemented events to understand the degree of their efficiency.
