At April 9 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment, the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Local Self-Government was debated in the first reading.
The necessity of the initiative is conditioned by the regulation of the conditions of taking into market and realization of liquefied hydrocarbon gases designed for using fuel, particularly by providing paragraph 15 of the EAEU technical regulations “Requirements for liquefied hydrocarbon gases used as fuel.” The amendment is meant to define the permission envisaged for the sale of the given fuel on the administrative territory of the communities by law on Local Self-Government.
To the conviction of the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan, the legislative gaps and disparities emerged during the sale/realization of the liquefied hydrocarbon gases will be regulated, in particular the item of the permission of sale for hydrocarbon gases on the administrative territory by the Head of the community.
The Committee endorsed the issue.
