At April 9 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment , the RA Deputy Minister of Environment Tigran Simonyan presented for debate the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences, and it was endorsed.
The legislative regulation is due to the need to prevent inefficient and reckless use of water resources and water systems, to ensure proper protection and to pursue a policy of preventing offences.
Administrative responsibility will be established for storm water drainage and land (drainage) systems for taking out the waste out of wastewater, a centralized drainage system for storm water drainage and land drainage and pollution of irrigation systems. The Deputy Minister has clarified that this is the bill regulating the entry and exit of motor boats in Lake Sevan.
The aim of establishing regulations is to ensure the security of people who have a rest on the beaches and swimmers and to exercise proper control over the use of the permitted resources during industrial fishing in Lake Sevan.
