As the RA NA President Alen Simonyan presente d , in accordance with Article 135 of the Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly and Article 43 on Prosecutor General ’s Office , the Prosecutor General assumes his/her office by swearing-in ceremony

On September 15, at the NA regular sitting the RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan sworn in : “Assuming the Prosecutor General’s Office, I swear to be steadily led by the RA Constitution and laws, protect human and citizen’s rights and freedoms, the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Armenia from criminal encroachments, strengthen the legality with my activities, keep high the reputation of the Prosecutor General’s Office , the title and the good reputation of the prosecutor. ”

The parliamentarians congratulated the Prosecutor General on assuming the office.

Afterwards the parliament in the second reading debated the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code.

The parliament by voting passed the bills debated on September 14.
