Your pro-Armenian activity in the European Parliament and the close cooperation with the Offices of the ARF Armenian Cause. During this hard period for Armenia and Artsakh you are in Armenia, for which we are thankful: the deputy of the RA NA Armenia Faction Artur Khachatryan said during the meeting with the Member of the European Parliament François Alfonsi.

On February 23, the deputies of the RA NA Armenia Faction Anna Grigoryan, Armen Gevorgyan and the Head of the RA NA With Honor Faction Hayk Mamijanyan also met with the Member of the European Parliament François Alfonsi who arrived in Armenia for carrying out fact-finding mission.

Thanking the MPs for warm reception, François Alfonsi noted that the aim of the visit is to get acquainted with the situation in Armenia and in Artsakh on the spot. Meetings took place with the representatives of the ruling faction and the executive body for that purpose to understand the approaches of different political forces on the situation. The CoE members also visited Syunik Region.

The MPs of the opposition factions presented the situation in Armenia and in Artsakh, touched upon the humanitarian challenges facing 120.000 Armenian people of Nagorno Karabakh because of the illegal blockade of Lachin Corridor.

During the talk the efforts being made by the European Parliament on establishing security and stability were highlighted.
