On April 14, the deputy Rustam Bakoyan representing the Yazidi community met with his compatriot students in the National Assembly.
The deputy highlighted the involvement of Yazidi youth in various issues of community life, noting that youth is the guarantor of preserving national identity and its permanence and that the voice of Yazidi youth should always be heard.
Yazidi youth spoke about various issues, from educational to cultural, emphasizing the role of science, education and culture in the context of preserving their own identity and national image. The existing problems were also raised, and the students had their own ideas about their resolution and regulation.
Rustam Bakoyan mentioned that similar discussions will be continuous as long as there are problems that concern the youth representing the community.
“Meetings and discussions will continue in order to reach their successful conclusion with joint efforts and joint work,” the deputy representing the Yazidi community stated at the end of the meeting.
