On November 2 the Chairman of RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Hrair Karapetyan, the deputy chairman of the committee Ishkhan Khachatryan, the members of the committee Arakel Movsisyan, Mikael Manukyan, Rustam Gasparyan visited Hovhannes Baghramian N 55 motor-rifle military unit of Armavir Marz, where soldiers and officers were prepared.

The Chairman and the members of RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs visited the military unit, got acquainted with the conditions. They were in the everyday service, sport, rest and information halls and in medical aid room.

They had a sincere talk with the soldiers of the 1^st battalion of the military unit, who some time later, would continue their military service in different military units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. The commander of the military unit, the colonel Gurgen Yenokyan noted that their main goal was to prepare the military devoted to the motherland.

The Chairman of RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Hrair Karapetyan positively assessed the military-educational process being held in the military unit. He noted that such visits would be organized to different military units of the republic in future. According to the tradition, the committee will visit the main checking point before the main call up and will follow the autumn and spring call ups.
