During the parliamentary briefings held on May 31, the Head of the NA Bright Armenia Faction Edmon Marukyan referred to the resignation of the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Ayvazyan. The head of the opposite faction noted that there was no conversation related to Ara Ayvazyan in the sitting of the Security Council: “I was surprised when I knew that he submitted his resignation. There is one important circumstance. My call and message to the officials is to realize that Armenia is in the extremely difficult situation, this is a government of acting ministers, and the constitutional-legal regulations do not allow to appoint a new minister instead of any minister who submitted his/her resignation. I think that it is not difficult to present state interests for three more weeks. In this situation it is right to continue serving the Republic of Armenia, not to go out at the most difficult moment and just leave that burden in the air.”
