Statement on Assuming Office of President of the Republic at Special Sitting of the National Assembly

“On March 3, 2022 the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia elected Vahagn Khachaturyan President of the Republic.

Pursuant to Article 127 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Article 49 of the constitutional law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the President of the Republic assumes the Office at the special sitting of the National Assembly, which will be convened on the tenth day after electing the President of the Republic, on March 13, at 12:00,” the statement signed by the RA NA Vice President, the NA Acting President Hakob Arshakyan reads.
