On March 7, the briefings following the NA regular sittings were held. The deputies from the RA NA Armenia Faction Vahe Hakobyan and Tadevos Avetisyan participated in the briefing.
Speaking about the situation created around Ukraine, the deputies called it a consequence of Ukraine’s short-sighted policy.
The deputies of the NA Armenia Faction also referred to the possible problems of grain import from Russia.
“I think that the longer the Russian-Ukrainian conflict last, the more Russia will impose restrictions, and we will face a problem,” Vahe Hakobyan noted.
According to Tadevos Avetisyan, the Government together with the Central Bank should do its best to neutralize possible risks in the current situation.
As the parliament members said, conditioned by the situation created around Ukraine, there is a danger that grain production will be reduced in the near future, and inflation will be registered in the international grain markets against the background of the demand.
