Appointments in the Post Carrying Out Operative-Intelligence Functions of Tax and Customs Bodies to Be Made in the Competitive Procedure Established by SRC Chairman
The Government sets with the functioning regulations the list of names of the posts carrying out operative-intelligence functions of tax and customs bodies, where the appointments of the posts are made by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) without preserving competitive procedures. The appointments in those posts with the proposing amendment will be made in the competitive procedure established by the SRC Chairman. According to the Deputy Chairperson of the RA State Revenue Committee Tsovinar Soghomonyan presented the proposing amendments to the laws regarding the tax and customs services at September 14 NA sitting. According to her, the availability of the building integrity system while holding the posts in the tax and customs system is highlighted. The competitive process shall also contain building integrity checking component.
In response to the question of the RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan, Tsovinar Soghomonyan gave details on the content of the regulations. She informed that while carrying out customs service competition the building integrity checking component is already used. The process is comprised of several phases: first the participants’ knowledge, as well as professional short testing is held, after which the participants submit a building integrity questionnaire, answering to a number of questions. The questionnaire is also taken into consideration during the oral interview. According to the SRC Deputy Chairperson, about 2000 applicants passed this procedure, almost 750 participants took part in the interview.
The member of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Hovik Aghazaryan underlined the united approach is shown in the process of turning to the posts in similar services.
