On October 23, the RA National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings.
Approving the draft laws of the regular sittings of the fourth session of the NA sixth convocation, the parliament in the second reading debated the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Licensing.
The RA Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan presented the draft law.
The MP Gagik Melikyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
Afterwards the parliament debated the item of the election of the RA Constitutional Court Judge. The RA President Armen Sargsyan nominated the lawyer Vahe Grigoryan to be elected i n that vacant position.
The RA Acting Chief of Staff of the RA President Emil Tarasyan presented the candidate’s biography and the passed working path.
Vahe Grigoryan presented his vision of the activities in the CC Judge’s position, considering that work very heavy and responsible.
The MPs Gevorg Petrosyan, Hayk Konjoryan, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Mikayel Melkumyan expressed their viewpoints about the candidate.
The Chair of the RA NA Accounting Committee Gagik Melikyan presented the results of the CC Member voting informed that 53 MPs took part in voting. Vahe Grigoryan was not elected CC Member with 30 for and 23 against votes.
The parliament debated in the first reading the RA draft law on Amending the Law on Bodies of State Government System, presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture Garnik Petrosyan. The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vardevan Grigoryan presented the endorsement of the Committee.
The bill authored by the deputy Naira Zohrabyan on Making Addendum to the RA Law on the RA Holidays and Memorial Days was debated.
The RA Acting Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan noted that the item was regulated by the government.
In her report the NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights.
Afterwards, the legislative initiative on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts authored by the RA NA deputies Gevorg Gorgisyan and Hayk Konjoryan.
The RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan and the NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan expressed their viewpoints on the legislative initiative, highlighting the regulations.
The draft law on Making Addenda to the Law on Trade Unions was debated in the first reading.
The Chair of the RA NA Health Care and Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.
The Head of the RA NA Yelq/Way out Faction Lena Nazaryan announced that they would nominate the candidacy of the RA Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Prime Minister’s office.
The draft law on Amending the RA Labour Code authored by the deputies of the RA NA Tsarukyan Faction was also debated in the first reading.

The RA Acting Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan presented for debate the bill on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Water Code.
The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Lena Nazaryan presented the endorsement of the Committee.
The draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Civil Procedure Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Labour Code authored by Tsarukyan Faction were debated to pass in the second reading and completely, as well as the package of bills on Amending the RA Law on Alienation of the Property of the Society and State Needs and the endorsed ones and the bill on Making Addendum to the RA Civil Procedure Code.
