On September 30, the delegation led by the Head of the Hellenic Side of Twinning Project ‘Strengthening of Capacity of the RA National Assembly to Further Support the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) Oversight and Implementation financed by the European Union’ Eleni Kanellopoulou visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan accompanied the delegation being in Armenia for the first time to Tsitsernakaberd.
The members of the delegation laid flowers at the eternal fire perpetuating the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, as a sign of Holy Martyrs’ memory, took a tour in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
The coordinator of European Programs Implementation Service (EPIS) of Hellenic Parliament Eleftherios Papadopoulos noted: “I visit the Armenian Genocide Museum for the first time. My grandfather emigrated from Istanbul, and I am shocked seeing these facts here. I hope that further generations will do everything to prevent genocides.”
