On October 25 in the Green Hall of the National Assembly the personal exhibition of the Armenian painter Edvard Sasun opened.
For Edvard Sasun this year is jubilee, he will be 55. He was born in the village of Shgharshik of Talin region in the family of intellectuals. He has graduated from the Faculty of Economical Cybernetics at the Yerevan State University, later the Repin Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leneingrad.
The painter Edvard Sasun for many years has lived and worked in Thailand. He had numerous personal exhibitions in South Asian countries and in Geneva. He is a member of the Painters' Union of the Russian Federation.
“Edvard Sasun’s paintings are of different genres, and they have different thematic direction. They are full of eastern warmth, representing the painter,” the deputy Karine Achemyan said.
In his word Edvard Sasun congratulated the Armenian people on the occasion of the opening of the NA session hall and expressed his gratitude for organizing his personal exhibition in the parliament, which inspires him and gives him new fervour.
