On December 28 in the Parliament Park there was a festive event for New Year and Christmas, which was held under the auspice of the National Assembly President Hovik Abrahamyan.

“Open Doors “programme once again presented festivity to the children, organizing a wonderful concert and a meeting with the characters of the beloved folk-tales and animations for them. The sounds of the songs by Arevik Еnsemble of the Public Radio, Dalita, “Starlets Project,” Silva Hakobyan, Nune Yesayan and others and the participation of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden have created a joyful and warm atmosphere in the park. The National Assembly prepared New Year presents, but other surprise was also expected: the National Assembly President Hovik Abrahamyan and the MPs approached to congratulate the children, express wishes and simply talk to them.

In the park an exhibition was also organized: the works of the children from Henrik Igityan Aesthetics National Centre and Arabkir Hayordats Tun  (Armenian Youth Union) were presented, and the children from an orphanage were colouring the clay sculptures in the park.
