On January 30 the RA NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment moderated by Martun Grigoryan convened a sitting to debate the proposed issues for including them in the agendas of the NA third session and four-day sittings.
At the committee sitting the Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Simon Papyan substantiated the necessity of amendments to the RA Code. The Committee guaranteed to include the issue with endorsement in the agendas of the session and four-day sittings.
The deputy of the Heritage faction Zaruhi Postanjyan submitted to his colleagues the draft law on creating a Parliamentary Ad-hoc Committee elaborated by co-authors Rubik Hakobyan and Tevan Poghosyan.
As a result of voting the initiative did not receive appropriate number of votes in favour of it.
The RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on 2006-2007 Program of State Property Privatization,” which presented the Deputy Head of the Department of the State Property Administration adjunct to RA Government Ashot Markosyan.
The Committee also the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Electronic Communication,” “On Amending the RA Law on Licensing” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty,” which presented the Director of the National Center of Legislation Regulation Armen Yeghiazaryan.
Armen Yeghiazaryan also presented the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Energy,” On Amending the RA Law on Licensing” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty” and “On Amending the Water Code of the Republic of Armenia.”
The Committee endorsed all draft laws to be included in the agendas of the session and upcoming four-day sittings.
The draft law “On Recognizing Non-Valid the RA Law on Free Privatization of the State Housing Fund Apartments” was also endorsed.
At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Financial Leveling” submitted by the RA Government was included in the agenda, and its debate was delayed up to one year by the committee’s decision.
The RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Artak Davtyan debated the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Licensing” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty,” which presented the Deputy Minister of RA Education and Science Manuk Mkrtchyan.
As a result of voting, the deputies endorsed the debated package of bills to include them in the agendas of the NA third session and four-day sittings.
The Committee also debated the RA draft law “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty,” which presented the co-author Karine Atchemyan.
The Committee endorsed the draft law to include it in the session agenda.
The RA draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Scientific and Research Activity,” authored by the Government, which presented Artak Davtyan, was also debated.
The bill was endorsed to be included in the agendas of the NA third session and four-day sittings.
By the authors’ proposal the Committee made a decision to cancel up to one-year term the draft laws “On Sizes and Order of 2013-2017 Science Financing,” “On Amending the RA Law on Advertisement,” as well as the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on General Education” and “On Amending the RA Law on Education.”
