RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan Visits the NKR

On July 6 the RA National Assembly President Hovik Abrahamyan was on a working visit in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR). In the city of Kovsakan of Kashatagh region the NKR President Bako Sahakyan, the NKR Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, the Deputy Prime Minister Artur Aghabekyan and other officials met the NA President.

The RA NA President got acquainted with the procedure of a number of programmes being implemented in the southern part of Artsakh. In one of the Trans Arax sites of the Hadrut region a working consultation was held, where the participants touched upon issues of cooperation between the marzes and regions of the RA and the NKR. Bako Sahakyan has noted that in this context the NKR southern wing is of special importance, where serious potential exists for the development of the different spheres of industry and agriculture. In his word, the cooperation will mutually beneficial for the two republics.

The RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the necessity of the implementation of similar programmes and welcomed the launching of the implementation of the next wide-scale of the NKR authorities. He emphasized the use of the of the land and water resources of the NKR southern part, as the in case of the implementation of the programme, the issue of the residing of that part and the creation of new jobs will be solved. Hovik Abrahamyan noted that a number of the RA big companies would make contributions, making effective the fulfilment of the programme. Summing up his word he added that as RA NA President he would promote the increase of the contributions, and the effective implementation of the programme.
