On November 21 literary video film presentation introduced by the Mesrop Mashtots Speech Culture Centre was held in the National Assembly, on the basis of which was the story “Armenian and Armenian” by William Saroyan. The NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan, members of the NA Staff, artists and journalists attended the presentation. The founder of the Mesrop Mashtots Speech Culture Centre Nadya Antonyan noted that the video film had a goal to praise the Armenian language in artistic way and to present the Armenian nation’s identity.

She thanked the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan for the support, as well as the initiatives directed to the preservation of the Armenian language.

Welcoming the activities of the preservation of the nation and the language improvement carried out by those attending the Mesrop Mashtots Speech Culture Centre and the Youth Centre, the NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan highlighted such programmes and thanked the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan for the creation of the video film, as well as for supporting the Republican Children-Youth Recitation Festival.

The Head of the NA RPA faction Galust Sahakyan welcomed the activity of the Centre. Quoting William Saroyan’s words “I don’t speak Armenian but I think in Armenian” Galust Sahakyan emphasized the initiatives of the preservation of the language and the Armenian way of thinking.
