On December 23 the parliament continued the work of the extraordinary session. The deputies passed by voting the package of draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty” and “On Amending the RA Law on Gambling and Gambling Houses,” returned to the National Assembly by the RA President’s objection and the legislative package envisaging amendments to the RA law “On RA State Budget for 2013” and in the laws enclosed to it in the first reading, which were debated on the previous sitting. The parliament also ratified the agreements “On Purchase and Sale of the Shares of the ArmRusGasard CJSC and Its Further Activity between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Russian Federation” signed in Yerevan on December 2, 2013, “On the Order of the Price Formation on the Natural Gas Delivery of the Republic of Armenia” between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Russian Federation” signed on December 2, 2013 and “On Cooperation in the Sphere of Delivery of Natural Gas, Oil Products and Natural Rough Diamonds of the Republic of Armenia” the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Russian Federation” signed in Yerevan on December 2, 2013.

Then the National Assembly continued to debate the package of bills proposing amendments to the law “On Motor Vehicle” and to a number of laws.

The deputies in the second reading debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on the RA State Budget for 2013”and the enclosed legislative package, which presented the RA Minister of Finance David Sargsyan.

As a result of organized voting, the abovementioned laws and the package of bills envisaging amendments to the RA law “On Motor Vehicle” and to a number of other laws were passed.

Let us note that the NA Prosperous Armenia, the Armenian National Congress, the ARF and the Heritage factions did not take part in the voting, except the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty” and “On Amending the RA Law on Gambling and Gambling Houses,” returned to the National Assembly by the RA President’s objection.

Exhausting the agenda, the parliament ended the work of the extraordinary session.
