On August 11, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan hosted the representatives of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) - the Central Board Chairman Hambik Sarafian, the Central Board Member Khachik Keshishian and the Head of Armenia Office Board Sedrak Achemian.

Welcoming the guests, the Head of the Parliament highlighted the participation of the party in the new format of cooperation formed between the extra parliamentary forces. Alen Simonyan evaluated the collaboration with the SDHP, in that context distinguishing the role of the latter in the Armenian communities of Diaspora.

Touching upon the post-war situation of Armenia and the future of the country, the SDHP Central Board Chairman Hambik Sarafian emphasized the activity of the legislative activity, the laws and decisions to be adopted in the near future.

The sides discussed issues concerning the domestic political situation of the country: in terms of overcoming the external challenges the consolidation of the political forces was considered important irrespective of disagreements.

During the meeting the sides also referred to strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora relationship.
