It is designed to allocate 29.9 billion AMD for developing the sphere of agriculture, out of which 2.5 billion AMD - for the measures being financed from the external sources: the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said during the debate on the relevant part of the preliminary version of the state budget for 2023. The debate was held at the NA Standing Committees on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Vahe Ghalumyan and Gevorg Papoyan.
It is designed to implement 12 programmes by the RA Ministry of Economy within the framework of the state budget for 2023.
The Minister of Economy noted that within the framework of 6 programmes it is designed to implement 30 measures by the state budget for 2023: agriculture boosting programme – 6, plant breeding promotion and plant protection – 3, restoration and development of rural infrastructures – 4, veterinary services – 2, agriculture modernization programme – 12, infrastructure and rural financing support programme – 3.
One measure, Support to Investment Programmes being Implemented in the Branch of Veterinary, was included in the new initiatives in the sphere of agriculture presented with budgetary bid.
According to the Minister, the subsidy programme of intensive parks registered positive result, and necessity emerged to increase the budget.
The Chair of the NA Standing Committees on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vahe Ghalumyan was interested in the reason of stopping the subsidizing the interests by the state of the 3-15 million AMD loans being provided from January 1, 2023. According to the Minister, it will be possible to control the efficiency through more purposeful programmes: they are again formed in a way that it will be possible to count the data for having high efficiency.
The MPs were also interested in the issues on the procurement of grapes, non-arable lands and import of poultry.
