On February 16, the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood organized parliamentary hearings on the package of the RA draft law “On Medicine” and the enclosed ones, where the deputies, the representatives of the RA Health Care, medicine producing, importing and exporting organizations, health international organizations and associations took part.
Let us remind that the parliament in the first reading debated and passed the package of the RA draft law “On Medicine” and the enclosed ones.
The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood Ara Babloyan informed that taking into consideration the importance of the package, as well as the problems revealed during the first reading, the Committee considered necessary to comprehensively debate the draft laws again.
The RA Deputy Minister of Healthcare Sergey Khachatryan has informed that the Government has the goal to regulate the market of the medicine, create and develop institutional structures, provide procedures of medicine production, import, realization, delivery and use.
He has noted that during the debate in the first reading numerous proposals were accepted.
The attendees addressed many questions to the reporter, which mainly related to the price policy, import of the medicine in our country, the provision of qualified and safe medicine.
Summing up the parliamentary hearings, Ara Babloyan informed that before the debate of the package in the second reading all proposals will be debated once again.
