23.6 billion AMD was allocated to the Ministry of Justice from the state budget in 2021. The performance was 83.3%. The RA Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan said about this.
According to the Minister, in 2021, the proceedings and the confiscated money increased due to the efficient work of the Compulsory Enforcement Service.
The Head of the State Supervision Service of the Republic of Armenia Romanos Petrosyan noted that 755.2 million AMD was allocated to the service in the reporting year. During the year, as a result of redistributions made, the adjusted plan was 714.5 million AMD, the expenditures – 676.7 million AMD, ensuring 94.7% performance. The rapporteur stated that 40.7 million AMD was directed to the reserved fund of the RA Government.
The rapporteur said that the service performs more than fifty control functions in a number of bodies and organizations at this moment.
The budget of the RA Constitutional Court for 2021 was formed from 1 program. It includes 2 measures. 683.9 million AMD was allocated to the Constitutional Court in the reporting year. The funds were mainly directed to the activity of the Constitutional Court and the provision of constitutional justice. The performance was 99.4%.
The Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court Samvel Arakelyan underlined that the number of applications submitted to the Constitutional Court has increased since 2020.
1.1 billion AMD was allocated to the Audit Chamber from the RA state budget within the framework of the Public Finance and Property Audit Program in 2021, which, according to the Chairman of the Audit Chamber Atom Janjughazyan, was fully used.
Of the 51 audits envisaged for the reporting year, 69 were conducted.
12.4 billion AMD was allocated to the Supreme Judicial Council from the RA state budget in 2021. The funds were addressed to the program of ensuring and implementing the activity of the Judiciary.
According to the Head of Judicial Department Armen Harutyunyan, within the framework of events conditioned by the establishment of the Anti-Corruption Court and the increase of the number of judges in bankruptcy, administrative courts, the Court of Criminal Appeal, the Civil Court of Appeal, as well as within the control over inter-judicial proceedings, additional 1 billion 204 million 387 AMD was allocated. In general, 13 billion 100 million 771 AMD was allocated.
6.1 billion AMD was allocated to the RA Prosecutor General’s Office, two programs were carried out – Examination Services and Litigation Management and Prosecutorial Supervision.
The Heads and the representatives of the Investigative Committee, the Corruption Prevention Commission, the Anti-Corruption Committee, the Central Electoral Commission also referred to the expenditure indicators in the sectors and the implemented programs.
