On February 26, under the sounds of the RA anthem the work of the plenary sitting of the Youth Parliament (YP) functioning adjunct to the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport was declared.

Before the approval of the agenda the swearing-in ceremony of the YP new members took place.

During the sitting the young MPs by voting passed the package of the RA draft laws “On Social Security of the Children Left without Parents’ Care,” “On Amending the the RA Family Code,” “On Making Amendment to the RA Civil Code,” “On Social Support” and “On Making Amendments to the RA Law on Civil Status Acts,” the draft law “On Amending the Criminal Procedure Code” and the RA draft law “On Compulsory Insurance of the Responsibility Stemming from the Use of the Transport Means” debated during the previous sitting.

The young MPs debated and passed by voting the draft law “On Making Amendment to the RA Criminal Procedure Code.”

The sitting ended with the MPs’ announcements.
