During the parliamentary briefings following the regular sittings the RA NA Secretary of the RA NA Faction With Honor Tigran Abrahamyan touched upon the draft law on RA State Budget for 2024 debated the day before. The parliamentarian noted that one of the prior problems of any Government is to ensure the territorial integrity, the citizens’ security.

“The preservation of inviolability and sovereignty of the borders is the priority for every citizen,” Tigran Abrahamyan said, noting that during the last five years the current Government had not ensured.

Touching upon the statements of the official representative of the RF Foreign Ministry on the probability of the Republic of Armenia being excluded from the process of the regional communications, Tigran Abrahamyan noticed that the RA had appeared at the centre of the regional clashes: The West sounds statements, in that issue accusing the RF, and the same statements and accusations sound from the RF against the West.

“These entities should changer their approaches. The countries that have problems with the Armenian authorities, should not pursue a policy, because of which the Armenian people would suffer. This refers to the EU and the U.S. and the RF: solve your problems with the Armenian authorities - the Armenian people should not become the victim of your problems, the Armenian society should not feel its grave consequences,” Tigran Abrahamyan said.

The Secretary of the Faction also spoke about Azerbaijan’s not participating in the meetings of the Foreign Ministers.

“Within the framework of the negotiation process Azerbaijan has not done certain volume of the acquired obligations. The USA, a mediator state, considered it as a blow directed to its authority, because of which their lexicon has become rather rough, there is also even a remark that the continuity of such workstyle can result in imposing sanctions. That is the reason that Azerbaijan does not consider expedient to take part in the meeting to be held in Washington,” Tigran ABrahamyan mentioned and noticed that during the last three years the enemy country makes behavior changes and tries to make new demands, which causes problems on the mediators’ reputation.

Tigran Abrahamyan also referred to the political and security problems caused because of 44-day war, calling Samvel Shahramanyan to the NA Investigative Committee, the border situation and the possible escalation.
