The main purpose of the adoption of the draft is the compliance of the regulations established by the Tax Code with respect to the emergence of the tax obligations of the regulations of the current law on

Bankruptcy. It refers to the obligations during the bankruptcy proceedings, emerging before that or after it. The Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Artur Manukyan said this during the regular sitting of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, presenting to the parliamentarians the package of drafts on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on the RA Tax Code and Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Bankruptcy.

The deputy of the Armenia Faction Gegham Nazaryan inquired what is the draft aimed at, if it is for the interests of the state, in reality passing through the bankruptcy process or to those applying to artificial bankruptcy.

In response to the MP’s questions, the SRC Chairman stressed that the paperwork of carrying out the tax body administration will be removed. It is for the entities, which want to be recognized bankrupt.

“There are distinct means for revealing those passing through bankruptcy draft, the draft regulates other thing. It will have neutral influence on the real business,” Artur Manukyan informed.

Lilit Minasyan made a related report. The MP noted that the draft carries out two important functions.

“As a result of the adoption of the draft, the workflow will be moved to electronic field, the loading of the courts will be dropped,” the MP noted and asked the Committee members to vote for it.

The Committee endorsed the package of drafts.
