On November 16 upon the initiative of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport parliamentary hearings were held on the theme “General Educational Reforms in the Context of Providing Education For Everybody” on the RA draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on General Education” and “On Amending the RA Law on Education”.
Presenting the expecting reforms in the sphere of general education, and as a result of them Armenia will turn to the general inclusive education, the Chairman of the Committee Artak Davtyan expressed hope that Armenia could gain the best results from the general inclusive education.
In his report the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan has underscored the system of values on which the legislative initiative is based.
Armen Ashotyan expressed conviction that an integrated environment should also be created in the system of higher education and promised that from the next year works would begin already in two higher educational institutions.
Those present addressed questions to the Minister of Education and Science about creating logistic conditions in schools with inclusive education, training of pedagogical human resources, inclusion concept, psychological and a number of other problems.
The Head of the Marz Armen Ghularyan presented the general inclusive experience with the successful example of Tavush Marz.
In their speeches the participants of the parliamentary hearings mainly highly appreciated this legislative initiative of turning into general inclusive education without any shocks, and after a short while the results will be already visible.
