At November 2 joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the allocations to the spheres of transport, water economy and energy envisaged by 2022 state budget were presented.
As the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan has presented, 335bln 257mln AMD will be allocated to the Ministry. 140 events will be implemented within the framework of 22 programmes. 209bln 594mln AMD will be directed to the capital expenditures and 125bln 663mln AMD – current expenditures.
According to the Minister, it is envisaged to allocate 116bln 642mln AMD to the sphere of transport by the draft budget. 3 programmes and 31 events will be implemented. The biggest is for the Improvement of Road Network programme and 115bln 117mln will be allocated to it. It is planned by another programme to reconstruct Talin-Lanjik and Lanjik-Talin roads and provide two-way traffic. The construction of a bridge in the area of Bagratashen checkpoint will continue, and 1,3bln AMD will be allocated to it from the budget. Construction works will also be carried out in Vanadzor Alaverdi-Georgia border.
45bln 253mln AMD will be allocated to the implementation of 5 programmes and 41 events in the sphere of water economy. The main part of finances will be directed to the Recovery of the Irrigation System. It is planned to renovate 185km long irrigation networks and build a new15km- network. Irrigation systems will be built in 17 settlements of Syunik marz, 17 reservoirs will be designed and built, as well as 4 reservoirs will be renovated within the framework of the programmes to be implemented by the EU support.
The allocation to the sphere of energy is 49bln 425mln AMD. It is envisaged to implement 3 programmes and 10 events. The biggest is the Caucasus Power Transmission Network/Armenia-Georgia High Voltage Transmission Line, and the Substations programme consisted of 3 components.
