At the NA Standing Committees' Joint Sitting

On April 14 at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs and NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs presided over by Davit Harutyunyan were debated problems concerning the procedure of the fulfillment of the 22nd , 24th , 26th , 27th and 30th items of the inquiry directed to RA Government. The indicated items are related to the establishment of the social solidarity and justice, definition of the consumer’s minimum basket and budget, as well as raising the salaries, pensions, allowances by the budget accounting, reduction of the shadow economy, providing the correlation of the tax incomes comparative with the indices of the European countries and GDP, the exclusion of the artificial economic monopolies, social partnership and the input of the complete system of the unit corporative social responsibility, the adoption of RA Social Code. The RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan presented the viewpoint of the government. During the debates the NA deputies touched upon the addressing of the allocations given by the family allowance, the adoption of the legislative initiative on the structure and composition of the consumer’s minimum basket and budget, the programme of the government’s activity and the steps undertaken for raising the population’s awareness and administration under implementation. The Deputy Minister referred to the inquiries concerning the MPs and presented the government’s viewpoint, noting that in the nearest future there will be complete and additional information on the above-mentioned items.
