At November 17 NA sitting, the RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan presented the allocation of the field with the budget document of the coming year.
Unprecedented growth of expenditures, about 44bln AMD, is envisaged in the fields of education, science, culture, youth and sport, which will be addressed to the reforms, the modernization of infrastructure of educational, cultural and sports institutions, the expansion of the beneficiary groups receiving state support and the development of science.
Construction, renovation and overhaul works will be carried out in 109 educational institutions. Reforms will continue in the field of general education. The implementation of interconnected policy of teachers’ professional development and remuneration will continue. As a result of voluntary certification, about 480 teachers will receive additional bonuses. Significant efforts will be made aimed at ensuring access to education. Due to the development of the e-learning system, teaching of all subjects will be taught in schools that need teachers. Summer and themed camps will be organized for about 4400 children.
The number of students receiving full or partial reimbursement of the tuition fee has increased in the fields of preliminary, secondary vocational and higher education. The capital investments will increase in the field of sport.
