Gnel Sanosyan: Farming with traditional methods becomes problematic
During the National Assembly-Government Q&A session, the deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Marina Ghazaryan inquired about dehydration danger of the farming economies of the cities of Meghri and Agarak of Syunik Marz and adjacent villages.
“We provide sufficient technique to water user companies in order to do possible work for cleaning the streams that the water losses will reduce,” the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan said.
The Minister noted that the Ministry does huge work in that direction, but confessed that it is not sufficient.
“On one hand, the system has big decay, the problem is serious, demands big investments, on the other hand – the climatic conditions get changed month by month in negative sense. Farming with traditional methods becomes problematic,” the Minister added.
