Deputy Alkhas Ghazaryan Inquires from Minister of Internal Affairs about Activity of Water Patrols
During National Assembly-Government Q&A Session, the deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction Alkhas Ghazaryan inquired from the Minister of Internal Affairs about the activity of the water patrols. “What will the society expect from this new service?” she asked. The deputy also proposed to review the possibility of increasing the age of the women applying for patrol service.
The Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan informed that the water patrols will carry out their service on the coastal areas of the Lake Sevan. “The service will be carried out in the status of troop; it will be comprised of 95 people, we’ll have 4 bases,” the Minister said, adding that the process of purchasing technique and uniform goes on.
As the Minister informed, there are already applicants for being included in the service, the examinations have also begun, and the results are satisfactory.
