On April 24, the delegation led by the President of the Senate of France Gérard Larcher accompanied by the deputy of NA My Step Faction, the Chair of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan visited the Homeland Defender Rehabilitation Center.
The Rector of Yerevan State Medical University Armen Muradyan presented to the guests the history and the activities of the creation of the Center. The Senators had been in the rooms equipped with modern medical equipment, in the patients’ room of hotel type, in the library, in the hall designed for holding conferences and in the workshop created adjacent to the Center.
In this Rehabilitation Center more than 3000 wounded military servicemen were treated. Most of them could walk, get up from the handicapped cart, obtain a new profession and return back to life.
The President of the Senate of France talked with the servicemen, who got injured during the last war. “I welcome your courage and bravery. You have paid the greatest price for the homeland,” Gérard Larcher said.
