At November 10 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs in the first reading debated the bill on Amending the RA Law on Joint Stock Companies.
The RA Deputy Minister of Economy Ani Ispiryan has noted that an attempt is made to regulate a number of problems existing in the sphere. According to her, the requirement established by law on notifying at least 21 days before to the shareholders on the convocation of the shareholders’ meeting is spread only on the companies with more than fifty shareholders. The draft law ensures the protection of the minority shareholders’ interests, and equal conditions are created.
The MPs endorsed the draft law.
