On May 20 RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan visited the National Gallery of Armenia, where he took part in the opening of the personal exhibition of the Armenian French famous painter Richard Jernaian. The painter’s 50 works are presented in the exhibition, as well as 5 works that were donated before to the National Gallery of Armenia. Richard Jeranian’s personal exhibition will function until June 3, and after the exhibition the painter will donate 14 works to the gallery.
The Speaker of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan with the painter, accompanied by the Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan and the Director of the National Gallery of Armenia Paravon Mirzoyan took a tour in the exhibition, got familiarized with the presented works.
The NA Speaker also visited the History Museum of Armenia, watched the exhibits presented within the framework of the exhibitions dedicated to 13 capitals of Armenia and declaration of Yerevan World Book Capital in 2012.
