The parents of the children with disability have noted that they more often cannot make use of the right of getting medical aid and free medicine. In this context the investment of the information system of applications and visits in the outpatient institutions was highlighted, which according to the interlocutors, will promote the transparency of the support being provided at the expense of the state and the improvement of the governance.
According to the expert Arsen Manukyan, the study of the RA working legislation has shown that the provisions defining boosting of the employment of the parents of the children with disability or privileges are not envisaged. In this context recommendations were presented, which could promote the provision of the employment of the parents of the children with disability.
The opening of the daily care centres, social service divisions in every community and inclusive preparatory schools has also been considered necessary.
It has been noted that the number of the children with disability is 8500 in our country at present.
