On November 19, the Chairperson of the RF FA Council of the Federation Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachyov and the members of the Committee being in Yerevan on a working visit accompanied by the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan, the Deputy Chair of the Committee Alexander Arzumanyan and the Committee Member Shirak Torosyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

On behalf of the RF Federal Assembly the Russian parliamentarians laid a wreath at the monument of the Armenian Genocide victims and put flowers at the eternal fire honoured the Saint martyrs’ memory.

The Chairperson of the RF FA Council of the Federation Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachyov noted: “Paying tribute to the memory of the 1915 Armenian Genocide victims, we once again get convinced that as flexible is the peace, so monstrous is the violence and the conflicts between the nations are terrible. We should do our best for not allowing new tragedies. We are next to the Armenian people.”
